Community Ministries

Our Hospitality Team provides coffee and donuts in the Hall of Saints after the 8:30 am and 10:00 am Masses every Sunday. Together with our larger Welcome team, Hospitality volunteers host a monthly social following our weekend Masses -- Café OLA! We bring food, beverages, and games to the outdoor courtyard after the weekend Masses when the weather cooperates (Spring through Fall). These gatherings give parishioners the opportunity to get to know each other, relax over beverages and food, and establish or renew friendships.

Volunteer Opportunities

Many parishioners in the congregation have expressed gratitude that the donuts, coffee, and time to socialize are still offered at Our Lady of Angels. Because of the generosity of our Hospitality volunteers in giving time to serve, we are able to continue this wonderful tradition.

Volunteers are always needed to set-up (Saturday afternoons), pick-up donuts (Sunday morning) and host after the 8:30 am and 10:00 am Masses. If you are able to help out, please contact Natalie Morrone.

The Italian Catholic Federation encourages and promotes faith renewal, apostolic and charitable works, and the preservation of the Italian-American heritage in our communities.

The OLA Multicultural Group (OMG) is a faith-based social group. We host cultural events all year long for everyone. We pay tribute to international faith-based traditions, culinary delights, film, music, dance, and other fun activities which celebrate customs around the world. Our goal is to provide a welcoming environment for people of all cultures who walk through our doors. We foster a loving and inclusive spirit by celebrating our diversity - and most importantly, the faith that brings us together.

The mission OMG is to welcome old and new minority parishioners and invite them to participate in OLA's various programs so that they feel like they are a part of this warm and vibrant community.

Come and join us! Please contact Marilyn Ansari ([email protected]) for more information.

Our community welcomes parishioners by name. Remember your name badge as you head to Mass on Sundays. When you wear your badge, you're waving a personal "welcome" banner and encouraging and engaging others to connect with you.

Need a badge? We have Name Badge Stations at the two main front and side entrances adjacent to the rectory. Take it with you or keep it in one of our Name Badge Kiosks.

Where's my badge? Each family has a designated hanger on the Family Kiosk or you may simply hang your badge on a spot marked "OPEN."

How can I help? We invite you to join our ministry. We believe every person – young or young at heart –deserves to know they are valued. Greeting each other by name enriches our welcoming environment and allows us to create meaningful connections.

If you have more questions or would like to help us on Name Badge Sunday, please contact Laura Elmore at [email protected] or (650) 259.0732.
