At Our Lady of Angels School of Religion, our First Reconciliation program offers students a profound opportunity to encounter our loving, merciful, and forgiving God. The preparation includes engaging lessons centered on biblical stories that exemplify Christian living, such as the Good Samaritan, the Ten Commandments, and the Sermon on the Mount. This approach helps children understand the importance of compassion, moral guidance, and the teachings of Jesus in their daily lives.

The program spans several months and involves classroom instruction, parent meetings, and prayer celebrations. Parental involvement is essential, as parents are the primary witnesses of faith to their children. During the second year of preparation, children who are ready will receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation in the winter.

Our goal is to assist your children in meeting Jesus through the Gospels and recognizing Him in everyone they meet, fostering a lifelong relationship with Christ.
