At Our Lady of Angels School of Religion, we warmly welcome school-aged children seeking the Sacrament of Baptism into our faith community. Our comprehensive preparation program is designed to ensure both the child and their family are fully engaged in this sacred journey. Key components of the program include:

• Active Participation in Parish Life: Families are encouraged to attend weekly Mass together, fostering a deeper connection with the Church community.

• Grade-Level Religious Education: Children are required to complete a full year of participation in our School of Religion program, appropriate to their grade level, to build a solid foundation in faith.

• Parental Catechesis: Parents will complete an online course on the Sacrament of Baptism, equipping them to support their child’s spiritual development effectively.

• Family Sacramental Meetings: Attendance at family meetings throughout the year provides opportunities for shared learning and reflection on the baptismal journey.

• Faith Sharing Session: A family faith-sharing meeting with our directors will affirm the child’s desire for Baptism and address any questions.

• Scheduling the Baptism Ceremony: Once preparation is complete, families can schedule the celebration of the Sacrament of Baptism at a mutually convenient time.
