Our Lady of Angels Parish School of Religion

The Mission of OLA School of Religion is to help children deepen their understanding of the Catholic Faith and their relationship with God, our church and each other.

We strive to give your children a base of knowledge about their faith to build upon for the rest of their lives and to teach them the value of studying and learning about their religion so they will be encouraged to explore their faith throughout their lives. The staff and volunteers in the OLA School of Religion are here to assist you, the parents, who are the primary teachers of your children.

Classes are offered once a week to children in grades Kindergarten through 8th grade who are registered parishioners at Our Lady of Angels. Children may attend Grade K-6 classes either Tuesday or Wednesday 3:45-5:00pm and Grades 7 & 8 attend Monday evening classes from 7:30-8:45pm.

For any inquiries, please contact our office at 650-347-3671 or click here to email.

Education Classes

Religious education classes are offered on Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons for our K-6th grade students and Monday evenings for 7th and 8th Grade students.

Our program runs from October though May.

Our Lady of Angels School of Religion is an integral part of our parish community. We are committed to helping parents provide their children with a solid spiritual foundation for their Roman Catholic faith. Our teachers are role models of service to the community. Our goal is to create an open and respectful learning environment that embodies Christian values for every student. Our curriculum emphasizes an understanding of our history through the Old Testament, teachings of Jesus in the New Testament and the truths and traditions of the Roman Catholic faith. Through these endeavors, we support parents in their duty to teach their children to live everyday as followers of Christ.
