The goal of Our Lady of Angels Preschool is to build on the foundation of a Christian community for the young children and families we serve. We believe in preserving and guiding the physical, emotional, social, cognitive and spiritual needs of our students. We believe that each child develops at his or her pace and should be recognized for their individual contributions and efforts. We believe in providing a developmentally appropriate environment for which your child can learn and develop socially amongst his or her peers. The preschool environment includes a play-based structure while incorporating a variety of materials and equipment, learning new skills verbally, intellectually and physically, while learning of the love of God. In this way, we develop in each child a sense of self confidence, cooperation with others, and the feeling of love that God has given to us.
Relationship to the Parish
The preschool is a self supporting ministry recognized by the OLA parish. We became part of the parish July 1, 1998. We are recognized by the San Francisco Archdiocese through CYO. OLA preschool is a separate school and runs independent from the OLA Elementary School.
Please note: there is no preference given to students for admission into the elementary school by attending OLA preschool.
